For those of you who do not know, E. Gary Gygax has passed away.

Though I never met the man, he had an astounding impact on my life and the lives of the millions of people who have enjoyed or now enjoy role-playing games. There may be arguments about the “first” RPG, but none can deny Mr. Gygax was a pioneer, certainly the face of RPGs to a very great degree.
It’s a sad, sad day. Thank you, Mr. Gygax, for all you have given.
