Sagas of the Sea Peoples

This is definitely not the best place to find news of my undertakings (that would by my Patreon) but just in case you are following this site hoping for news, you might not realize that the Kickstarter for Sagas of the Sea Peoples is happening right now.

The Kickstarter will run until 29 February 2020, so if you’ve got the money, head on over and help me make something awesome.

NOTE: (16 May 2020) the Kickstarter for Sagas of the Sea Peoples didn’t fund, and as the only purpose of the Quickstart was as a proof of concept for the game, it is no longer publicly available. As I’ve had requests, I’d like to point out that both it and the full game are available on my Patreon.

  1. Fascinating! This is a really interesting chapter of history that surprisingly few people know anything about – I love telling people that there was an earlier Dark Ages before the one that everyone knows about (yeah, I’m a hit at parties). The whole theme of migrants being mistaken for raiding barbarians has unfortunate relevance today.

    1. The relevance with the modern situation was one of the things that really hooked me. Eric Cline’s 1177 B.C.: The Year Civilization Collapsed published in 2014 by Princeton University Press is a really good general history on the Late Bronze Age Collapse if any of your audience at the party want to learn more. 😉
